Q: What is Divine Legacy?
A: Divine Legacy is an event for SMITE 1 and SMITE 2 that rewards you for the progress made and achievements made in SMITE’s History. We have tracked the progress you have made in SMITE 1, earning points, and those points tallied together earn you rewards.
Q: Awesome! So what all is being tracked?
A: The progress that is tracked in SMITE 1 ranges from the gods mastered, ranked matches lost, skins unlocked and the match hours played. For progress made on those factors, you earn points, and those points unlock rewards for both SMITE 1 and SMITE 2.
Q: What kind of rewards are unlocked?
A: For SMITE 1, players can unlock a choose-your-own Tier 5 Skin and a Choose-your-Own Tier 4 Skin. If you have linked SMITE 2 to your SMITE 1 Hirez account, you will also be unlocking cool stuff there.
In SMITE 2, it will unlock badges that show off how amazing your SMITE 1 achievements are, your rare skins, and your exact Mastery Level and Star Count on Each God that is available on SMITE 2.
You will also be able to unlock up to 11 skins in SMITE 2, FREE! One for each year of SMITE.
Q: What if I just want to participate in SMITE 1?
A: That is ok! You will just receive the benefits of Divine Legacy on SMITE 1. You don’t need to link your SMITE 2 account with SMITE 1 to get all the cool stuff.
You WILL have to link your SMITE 1 account to SMITE 2 in order to get the cool rewards for SMITE 2.
Q: What are Legacy Gems?
A: Legacy Gems are Gems granted in SMITE 2 for gems that you had spent in SMITE 1 - no matter if they were free or purchased.
Q: What can these Gems be used for?
A: The Legacy Gems in SMITE 2 can be used to pay for 50% of the price of most in-game purchases in SMITE 2, such as skins, Battle Passes and events in SMITE 2. These items will be Half-off until you spend all of your legacy gems.
Q: Sweet! How do I earn these Legacy Gems?
A: To get these gems, you have to link your SMITE 1 to SMITE 2. This is the only way to earn these gems.
Also, if you purchase the SMITE 2 Founder’s Pack, your Legacy Gems will be DOUBLED! This is due to SMITE 2’s currency changing slightly from SMITE, so this ensures that you will have the equivalent purchasing power.
Q: How do I link my SMITE and SMITE 2 accounts?
Players will need to link their SMITE 1 account to their SMITE 2 account in order to receive Cross-Gen content and Legacy Gems in SMITE 2.
You cannot link new SMITE 1 platform accounts after you link to SMITE 2. Please be sure you have linked all of your SMITE 1 accounts at https://my.hirezstudios.com/linked-accounts before linking to SMITE 2.
In order to link, you must log into SMITE on the platform you intend to play SMITE 2 on, then click “Link Account” from within the Divine Legacy tab. This will link your SMITE 1 account to that platform account.
Account linking is irreversible. Be sure you are on the platform you intend to play SMITE 2 on before clicking Link Account.
Closer to the release of SMITE 2, you will be able to link your SMITE 2 account from your primary account platform to other platform accounts to enable cross-progression in SMITE 2.
Q: How long do the 2X legacy gems for purchasing the Founder's Pack last?
The promotion to receive 2x the legacy gems if you had purchased the Founder's Edition will last only for a limited time. There is no ETA when, but for more information on this, please keep an eye on our social media.
