Q: What is SMITE 2?
A: SMITE 2 is the true sequel to SMITE! Fully modernized and rebuilt from the ground up in Unreal Engine 5.
Q: What makes it a True Sequel?
SMITE is an amazing game, but it is built on a technical foundation that is now well over a decade old. This limits quite a bit of what we can accomplish on SMITE. UE3 is also not directly compatible with Unreal Engine 5, and there is no path to upgrade it.
This meant that SMITE 2 starts from scratch and rebuilds SMITE to bring it into a modern age.
Q: What’s the difference between SMITE and SMITE 2?
A: SMITE 2 should feel like SMITE, the same one you know and love, but just strictly better. The main goal was to capture the magic of SMITE’s core combat and the MOBA formula. From that starting block, allowing more creative gameplay and added strategic depth to the gameplay has been added.
Q: When is SMITE 2 going to be released?
A: It is currently still in Closed Alpha development. For updates and announcements regarding alpha testing opportunities, check our official social media and website. As it is in early alpha, a limited god roster will be available along with many features outside of the core gameplay experience will be unavailable.
Q: Why run a true early Alpha?
A: Titan Forge Games believes that the best way to build a great multiplayer game is with the community. Following the same strategy with SMITE in the early days on PC, and on console, this is to ensure that the game you want to play is being made. During this alpha, your feedback will help us change the things you want to change, and will be responding to the feedback given.
Q: What platforms will SMITE 2 be available on?
A: It is going to be available for the Playstation 5, Xbox Series X|S PC (STEAM and Epic Games) and SteamDeck.

A: Players can join the Alpha now in a few different ways.

Q: Will there be an Ultimate God Pack for SMITE 2?
A: Players can unlock all present and future SMITE 2 gods by purchasing the SMITE 2 Founder’s Pack. More details on the Founder’s Pack will be available soon.
Q: Will SMITE 2 be free-to-play?
A: Upon full release, SMITE 2 will be free-to-play. During the Alpha and Beta Testing phases, players will need to redeem a free key to gain access via STEAM Playtest or purchase a Founder’s Pack to play. This access will be limited though, so that SMITE 2 can be built and shaped alongside a smaller core community throughout our testing phases.
Q: Will my SMITE 1 Skins transfer over to SMITE 2?
A: Most of SMITE 1 content will not directly transfer to SMITE 2, but fret not. SMITE players will be rewarded for the time, money, and achievements spent there. This is through two new systems, Divine Legacy and Legacy Gems!
In addition, new skins added to SMITE 1 in Season 11, along with some limited other cross-gen skins, will transfer between the games.
Q: What are Legacy Gems?
A: These are gems you get in SMITE 2 for every gem spent on SMITE 1, whether they were free or purchased. These gems can be used to pay for 50% of the price of most in-game purchases in SMITE 2, such as skins, Battle Passes and events. Those will be half-off until all your Legacy Gems are spent.
Additionally, if you purchase the Founder’s Pack, the legacy gems will be doubled! SMITE 2’s currency is changing slightly from SMITE, so this ensures that you will have the equivalent purchasing power. More details of the Founder’s Pack will be revealed soon.
